Dear Reader,
Today we want to present to you the NÉSTOR MUSEUM, an art gallery that preserves the biggest collection of arts from the Canarian artis Néstor Martín-Fernández de la Torre.
It is situated in the city of Las Palmas de Grand Canary, inside the "Canary Village", an architectural set conceived from the idea for the proper Néstor and projected and realized by his brother Miguel, whose buildings recall the Canary traditional architecture.
The Museum Néstor was inaugurated on July 18the in 1956, 18 years after the premature death of the artist, with the help of funds from the City and donations.
The building consists of eleven explanatory spaces that lodge the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions, as well as a shop and a pedagogic department.
