Canarian Recipes with MUR HOTELS

As usually we present you today, Wednesday, another Canarian recipe, called ALCACHOFAS EN ADOBO (artichokes in marinade).

Ingredients:
  • 2 artichokes canisters
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1/2 glass of vinegar
  • 1 oregano teaspoon
  • 1 laurel sheet
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 8 grains of black pepper
  • some oil to fry
Preparation:

  1. Prepare a marinade: crushing the garlic without skin, the pepper, the oregano, the paprika, the thyme and mix it with the vinegar, the wine, the laurel and the salt
  2. Cut the artichokes by half and leave it at least of 2-3 hours in the marinade
  3. Drain the artichokes of the marinade and fry them side by side
  4. Once fried, add the liquid of the marinade and boil it all togehter 5 minutes on slow fire.

Very tasty to accompany them with Papas Arugadas (Canarian Potatoes, the recipe can be found in this blog as well)
